This app is crappy!!

I cant even select any password I put in!!!!!!!

Slow

The app was great before but now it appears robe responding very slowly and it definitely needs an update.

In App Purchase

You can only scan so many games before you have to pay $6 for the Pro version. And if you got Pro for another one of their apps you cant have Pro for this one without buying it again.

Despite other reviewers

Sorry that they dont want to pay for a great app. Already own the books, movies and music apps. Only made sense to get this. Well worth the money.

Works awesome but can be time consuming

I love this app a ton, however, after the first 5 scans you have to upgrade if you want more scans. But you can still enter in the barcodes manually to copy your physical copies collection into your digital library. Would (and will) definatly recommend this to friends.

No warning

Seems like a nice app but there is no warning about an upgrade after 10 scans. I am not paying 6 bucks for this.

Confused

What is this app useful for I cant figure it out just to know what games you have because if it is that is dumb if you get free games thats cool but so far dumb to me

WORTH CHECKING OUT!!

I was looking for a new way to catalog my PlayStation 4 game collection and I like the fact a person can scan a barcode and it gets the information and picture. The information, at times, includes score ratings from IGN and will let person give a star rating for that particular game. The app works very well but has some hiccups at times. One of the biggest problems I have with the app, is the in app purchase to edit the image. The app doesnt always select the best image for display and will select poor quality images sometimes and display them wrong or sideways. The developer wants the customer to purchase the ability to change this problem and for that I will knock off 1 star on my rating. I can understand storage purchases because their servers are being used but some of the pricing is way too much money and can go as high as $49.99 for an in app purchase which is over the top and makes that particular upgrade not worth the bother. There are too many other cheaper ways to accomplish the same goal. The app does what it is suppose to but needs to be re-evaluated on editing the pictures when the app makes a mistake and not should have to purchase an in app ability to correct the downfall of their app to display images correctly.

Dont waste your time

There are some cool features to the app. However, even though its free to download, you can only list 15 games before you must upgrade. There are many different tiers of memberships. Some as high as $70. Even though they are lifetime memberships that is still very high. I wouldnt have minded paying a few bucks for this app but $6 is way too much. I dont see why such limits should be placed on the number of games in your list. The ability to scan barcodes and add to your list is great, but not for $6

Its not perfect

It seems to be good app to use. Will use more and decide

Video game collection done easy and right!

Ive been a user of this app prior to Sort It! Purchasing it several years ago (believe it was called "iCollect" at the time. Was very happy with iCollect, and when SI bought them, there was some strong resistance- myself included. It began when people had to repurchase the app, which put many people off. Them having my database already via iC made my decision somewhat easy, and hoped it would be the only hitch in the transfer. Unfortunately, it wasnt. Several months later, a flood damaged their servers and due to faulty backup plans, many people lost their collection databases. In an effort to please the now furious customers, SI offered everyone that was a current customer free versions of their upcoming desktop app that synced with your collections, as well as gave you another way to add and edit your databases. Many people never received their free keys for the desktop apps (again, myself included) once they were released, and I followed the hubbub on Facebook for a time, with no real resolution other than some indication that the time to collect on your free desktop app had passed. So... Why the five stars? To be honest, I just love the app- and, keep reading, as I was in for a pleasant surprise today, which Ill get to soon. I have a movie collection of over 1,000 movies and over 1,200 video games; I keep both the apps SI makes for each of these on my phone. The apps are incredibly handy. With so many movies & games, I may spot an older title on an incredible deal- and theres times I honestly am unaware if its a part of our collection. Adding titles is a snap with its bar code photo option, and if that doesnt work, its simple to either search by title, bar code, or just add the title from scratch if it isnt in their database- and Ill stress that its an odd chance they dont have it on file. Since the listed issues that transpired from the beginning of SI taking over these apps, everything has settled. Frequent updates have kept it up-to-date, titles are rarely missing, and I finally had an experience with customer service today, which was absolutely fantastic. I had emailed their support regarding an incorrect title/ bar code combination (no worries, you can hand edit to keep your collection correct, I just was passing info along so they could get it corrected in their system) over the weekend, and upon our correspondence, I mentioned that I had never received the desktop key from several years ago in one of the messages. To my surprise, I received an email today, several years later, along with an apology and a link to download the desktop app. When I saw the link originally, I saw "purchase" in the link, so thought they may have just sent me to the store site to buy it. Upon clicking the link, I was taken to the download site that installed the app to my PC free of charge. Not only was it the collection app for the movies (where I had contacted) it was a "complete" collection app, including video games, books, Legos, comic books, along with every other category they offer. While SI may have gotten off to a bumpy start at the beginning, its been smooth, uninterrupted sailing for us that do serious collecting. Cant recall any major issues since the database crash several years ago, and for people with "collection addiction" like myself, thats a huge boon. The fact that the apps offer so much in the way of organizing your collections, editing everything (even if its something "found" in their database thats incorrect) and a clean, simple, easy interface makes the apps from Sort It! Absolute must-haves. (PS: you may also access your database from your internet browser- its fun to occasionally show off your collection with a link to it from your social media of choice!)

Great app!

Wish it was cheaper than $6.00 to get full version.however this is a great and very handy/useful app.strongly recommend.BUT PLEASE UPDATE A LITTLE AND TELL US THE VALUES OF THE GAMES PLEASE.

Why not give it 5 stars?

It works as it should. All my games are scanned into the app, and when Im out looking for more games I just open it up to make sure Im not purchasing a game I already have. Scan feature works excellent, and the options to search for a game that isnt scannable are excellent, as well. Love it!

Too expensive

Theres no reason to only let you scan in 6 games before making you pay to unlock the full version at a really expensive price, I wish someone would actually make an app that does what this does for free, because theres no reason to pay for something like this

Update!!!

We need value of the games, let it be social to let our friends knows what kind of games everybody has!!!

Used to work...

This app used to work great. It was clean yet robust. Now after the recent update on 1/29/2016 the app doesnt even load it just crashes. All the hundreds of games that Ive painstakingly catalogued are no longer accessible for viewing.

Loved app until now

I have had this app for over a year and it has been great but since the new iOS update it crashes when opening and is completely unusable now

Please fix

After newest update does NOT work just crashes do not buy till after it is fixed

Video Game Database

1-29-16 update, no longer works and freezes I-phone

Great app (if you arent using the new iOS)

I have been using the app for several months and its always been wonderful. Its very intuitive, very easy to use, and the video games that are actually listed in the library are pretty much infinite. Its very rare you scan a game and its not listed in their library. My biggest complaint at this point, is that the developers have to take a look at the app since it no longer works with the new iOS update as of January 2016. Its absolutely useless at this point. The app doesnt even open. So if youre considering purchasing this for your iPhone, I suggest waiting until the developers roll out an update to correct the problems. But definitely grab it when they have it fixed. Its awesome.
